Release Notes 6.4.9

We are very excited to share with you the update on release 6.4.9:

  1. Audit log – Added support to keep a record of actions taken by users. This includes the user name, time stamp and the IP address from which the user access indeni.
  2. Cold-standby server – Added support of  Having automated backups and synchronizing backup files across active/passive members of Indeni are crucial. It is never known when the active Indeni system may have failures that prevent it from coming back on
  3. New widget for custom reporting – Added new templates to support use cases such as High Availability readiness, regulatory compliance/security compliance, best practices from Check Point, Palo Alto Networks and F5
  4. Device Backup usability improvements – Introduced retry mechanism to make backup more reliable, disk space validation and more friendly failure messages
  5. New device screen – Redesign the new screen to improve usability and scalability
  6. What’s new widget – Provide an easy way to share quick updates on indeni platform

  • Device Backup Improvements:
    • [FRONT-1242] – Downloading backup as a pre created zip
    • [IS-3190] – Check disk space before running backup, indeni server need to have at least 10 GB disk space available and at least 20% free disk
    • [IS-3507] – Backup retry. Indeni will try to run device backup 3 time with 10 minutes wait time between each retry
    • [IS-3508] – Backup whitelist, only supported devices will try to run a device backup
    • [FRONT-1291] – Show friendly message when the backup failed due to when backup configuration that don’t include any device
    • [IS-3657] – Clean device backup content – disk is filling up because the process is keeping both the “content” and zip files
  • Custom Reports Improvements:
    • [FRONT-1385] –  widget data disappears from graph after rename
    • [FRONT-1498] – Black background while setting schedule report
    • [FRONT-1503] – Widget colors need to remain the same between all widgets
    • [FRONT-1510] – Fix tooltip hidden when lots of issues on the graph
    • [FRONT-1522] – 29th of the month need to show a warning that this date might not be applicable on all months
    • [FRONT-1618] – Custom report disappear while skipping between screens
  • FRONT-1297 – Improve the device screen
  • [FRONT-1563] – Add logs to LDAP flow to better troubleshooting issues
  • [FRONT-1593] – Introduce “Whats new” widget to easily update indeni user on new releases
